Agree
Personally I was dismayed and disappointed recently at the bulldozing of the lovely, undisturbed little 'islands' to the west of the rail bridge where I had often paused on my bike ride to have a snack and enjoy the sun and the vista across the estuary to the north west. An irreplaceable spot. If it was vital to the bird life I accept it but destroying this pleasant and characterful part of the landscape seems out of balance to me.
